Nine Tournament Rule:
At the Fall 2019 KSHSAA Board of Directors Meeting it was unanimously approved to beginning with the 2020-2021 school year to allow students to participate in up to nine (9) competitions each year, excluding Regional and State competitions IF their school hosts a league or invitational tournament during the regular season. In the past, Scholars Bowl Rule 51-2-3 only allowed eight (8) regular season competitions per student. It is the hope of KASBC, along with KSHSAA, to increase the number or regular season tournaments by hosting an invitational tournament.

Do you have a team that you'd like to share photos of and brag about?
Send them to [email protected] and they will be added to this website.
In Need of Practice Questions?
Submit 1 round of 16 ORIGINAL questions to [email protected].
Once your questions are added, you will be emailed the link to all questions submitted this year, plus all questions from previous years.
These questions are great to use for practice, but not recommended for competition without cleaning up and/or rewriting. One caveat, all coaches submitting a round will receive access to the same questions, so keep this in mind if you wish to use in a competitive setting.
Coaches' CPR Reminder:
In April 2019, the KSHSAA Board of Directors adopted a rule requiring any head or assistant coach/sponsor for any KSHSAA sanctioned activity to be certified or trained in CPR and AED administration. This rule went into effect for the 2019-2020 activities year.
